5 /5 Thasneem Sithara: This has been my favourite go to restaurant in the last 2 years. If youre looking for authentic indian food with spot on flavours, this is a must try in wembley. I love their 65, mutton pepper fry. Mutton Biriyani is nearly there with its flavour however like the fact it comes with a boiled egg buried inside the biriyani ;). Portion size is lavish. Oh and their lollipop is a recommended dish too.

5 /5 Chshujjat Riaz: The food is okay its full of black pepper I ordered egg fried rice I normally come on Sunday to have me time here as I love egg fried rice but this time this is full of black pepper might be the main chef is having off today. Service I would say outstanding. Sreeja. For Service its 10/10. For food im not happy. Although she asked me to replace but its fine. I have mixed with boiled rice to balance the black pepper. Not in mood now.

5 /5 RAJ Sakthi: Review for The Madras Lounge, Wembley I recently had dinner at The Madras Lounge in Wembley, and it was truly one of the best South Indian meals I’ve enjoyed in London in a long time. I ordered Parota with Madras chicken curry, and the flavors were absolutely authentic — just like back home. • The chicken in the gravy was perfectly cooked, soft, and full of flavor. • The Parota was beautifully flaky, exactly the way it’s made in South India, which is rare to find in London. • Having tried a few Madurai-inspired restaurants in East Ham before, I can confidently say this meal stood out for its authenticity and taste. The service was also excellent — Sreeja was quick and attentive, making sure everything arrived promptly, and the bar counter staff were equally observant and helpful. Overall, The Madras Lounge delivered a wonderful dining experience with authentic South Indian flavors and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends

5 /5 ponn arasu: We came from Exeter and have tried many restaurants there, but we couldn’t find the real home-style taste we were looking for. This restaurant finally gave us that feeling of home. We tried around 8 different dishes and honestly, every single one was amazing. The food tasted like real South Indian home food — very authentic and full of flavour. It truly reminded me of eating back home. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the waiting time was only about 10 minutes. Everything was served fresh and hot. They also had a discount, and even after eating this much food, we paid under £50, which is excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone who loves genuine South Indian food. I will definitely visit again!

1 /5 July Monday: One of the worst meals I’ve had in my adult life. They should call this place “Burning Anus” – I am literally writing this while in the fetal position on the floor of my washroom. Ordered mutton kothu parotta (£9.95) with plain naan (£2.25) and a Peroni beer (£3.75). Topped with raw onion, the parotta was so bad I felt like crying – just some chewy lamb tossed with chopped old flatbread and garnished with overpowering spices. Parotta is a quick and delicious street food – this was utter sludge with no complexity. The naan was pathetic, zero flavour with the consistency of a confession wafer. The service is adequate, but the kitchen took 45 minutes to make my brown stodge – other reviews of this place (both good and bad) mention long wait times for simple dishes. I finished a beer waiting the meal to arrive. To top it all off, the dining area is a neon-lit windowless basement blasting pop music. Then came the aftermath. Be sure to be near a toilet directly after the meal – the food goes right through you fully intact, leaving you oddly hungry. Look at the other one star reviews – many mention getting sick. It’s day two and I’m still recovering – and I am used to eating spicy food from this part of the world. I messaged a local health inspector. Hopefully they can sort out this terrifying cuisine. Just … avoid!
