The air is filled with the incredible, silken aroma of authentic Afghan spices and freshly baked bread—a smell that immediately promises a culinary journey. This promise is fulfilled with every single bite. The beauty of the place is undeniable. The décor is stunning, featuring huge, majestic wall pictures of the Bamyan mountains and landscapes. They dont just decorate the space; they speak to you, telling stories of heritage and beauty, creating an atmosphere that is both grand and warmly welcoming. And the food? Absolutely exceptional. The taste is the true star here. Each dish was bursting with flavour, clearly made with passion and traditional recipes. The smell of the fresh, hot Afghan bread alone is enough to make your mouth water and soul happy. It’s the kind of meal that doesnt just satisfy your hunger—it reminds you of home, of family, and of cherished memories. This is all complemented by the wonderfully friendly and hospitable staff, who make you feel like an honoured guest in their home. Our Saturday night gathering turned into an amazing, memorable evening for our entire group. If you are looking for more than just a meal, if youre seeking a genuine taste of Afghan culture and warmth right in the heart of London, I cannot recommend Bamyan Restaurant highly enough. Az zee A Amazing tasting fresh food. Chicken strips were tender and so tasty. Very nice fries that dont go cold or hard quickly. Good value for money. Many choices on the menu. Parking might be tricky. There is parking outside on the slip road, but its always full. Probably better to park on opposite side. Staff are friendly and customer focused. I will be a regular

Donald The ambience is an unassuming cafe but don’t be fooled, the food is wonderful and the service (Bianca) is welcoming and friendly with a subtle twinkling eye humour that Europeans will recognise and feel at home. We had the chicken and mixed grill skewers. The meat was very high quality, perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. It was served with a very good mixed salad, chips and rice which turned out to be a great flavour combo. We ordered a jug of the house red which was Portuguese and very good. We prefer Portuguese wines so no surprise. Bianca thought we’d like romantic English language music but we asked her to restore the Portuguese music which created the perfect atmosphere for us to enjoy the wonderful food. We finished with pastel de nata custard tarts as dessert which were even better than we’d had in Portugal. Needless to say, we highly recommend this restaurant and as we stay in the area regularly, we are coming back soon.

Des Docherty Great spot for anyone at a local (airport) hotel stay over or in general. Food was of the highest quality, well priced and very tasty. Nice find by my brother. They have a limited beer selection, but do offer food to go.

Simon Wackrill Been here twice now. The food portions are great. The flavours, taste and all round presentation of the food when sitting in is awesome. Friendly staff/owner. Take great care in packaging the takeaway orders you may also do ( I have done) Ive twice had the kebab wrap with chips. But today. I up graded the chips to the flamin mexican chips. RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE. They do Burgers and veggie ones too
