5 /5 Carole Loomis: I have to be honest, I booked Sunday Roast here because my first choice was fully booked and I was on a waiting list. Saturday night I was told my first choice was available but I had already confirmed my reservation at The Pigs Head and decided to see it through. Im so happy I did.
The good-sized restaurant has a cozy feel, the staff is warm, welcoming, and efficient. We had the fried chicken bites for an appetizer and the aged sirloin for 2. The food is done so well - crisp potatoes, meat cooked perfectly, great gravy. Unfortunately, we didnt have room for dessert.
I had a Negroni before my meal - it was properly made. The wine list is not big but there are plenty of choices - by the glass or bottle.
All told, The Pigs Head was the perfect Sunday Roast experience; make it your first choice.
