4 /5 UK Photo Journey: Absolutely amazing local pub with staff who are friendly and welcoming. The building is very nice and makes you feel at home. Enjoy a pint there. Plenty of seating inside and out. Had quick drink before catch my train.

5 /5 Ivor Jefferies: Went here with a friend for a meal, New Years Day 2026, around 5pm. Found a great table and seats tucked away in an unusual quirky recessed area in main bar area. Food was very good I thought, and a reasonable price by todays standards. I had the Lamb Shank, excellent, my friend had Hunters Chicken which looked good. Cherry crumble and custard was good too. (Only slight minus was the house red wine. No idea what it was, was very sweet almost as if some sort of fruit juice had been mixed into it. Maybe just down to personal taste.) Service was very quick and friendly, efficient staff. Parking is easy in the council High Street car park behind Waitrose, just one minute walk from the rear door of the pub. Yes, I would be happy to eat here again.

1 /5 Alex Rogers: Came in as a group about an hour ahead of the rugby and asked if we could hop on an unreserved table for a drink. We were treated to a blast of attitude from the woman behind the bar which was already uncomfortable, worsened by the fact almost every single beer tap was apparently off and that theyd simply be too busy with us in there. Id reccomend going across the street to the white horse; much, much nicer place. When we did leave Haslemere we walked past a mostly empty pub in the middle of the six nations, so I daresay the bartender wont have a bar from which to be rude from for much longer.

5 /5 Stanislava Magnusova: Beautiful historical pub with low wooden beams, fireplace, lovely little areas for cosy dinner or just a drink or two. The service is absolutely fantastic, we were a group of 13 people eating and everything was perfect, our roasts were delicious and served very fast. Great pub! I would love to return. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience xx
