Anthony Tarpey Friendly, prompt service. Delicious food. I had the Picanha Uruguaia and it came with a very fresh side salad. Meat cooked to order. Glass of house white was lovely also. And finished with a double espresso of superior coffee (rather than the slop in Starbucks of my nearby airport hotel that I’d otherwise have had to settle for). Obrigado pessoal. Mustjab Ahmed Hands down one of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. The food tasted fresh, the batter was light and crispy, and the chips were proper — not soggy or oily. I also tried their chicken burger, and it was surprisingly good! Great variety, decent prices, and really warm service. Highly recommend.

Vince Hoskin Had an absolutely perfect lunch here, really beautiful scenery from the patio, could have stayed there for the day! Such an unusual pub, its like stepping back in time, in a good way, wonderfully quirky in a pleasantly natural way. Could not wish for better food and staff, a lovely, friendly old fashioned friendliness that is missed out on in so many other places.

Julian Balling Lovely dinner experience. The atmosphere is spot on—very stylish but relaxed. Friendly service and top-tier appetizers (the Fried Ricotta was a highlight). Portions for the pasta might seem small initially but are actually quite satisfying. Great selection of traditional Italian desserts to finish. Highly recommend for a date or a cozy dinner.

Benisha Shah I recently visited Curry Delight and had a really enjoyable experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely portioned — the butter chicken was creamy with a well-balanced spice level, and the garlic naan came out warm and soft, perfect for dipping. Everything tasted homemade and prepared with care. The atmosphere was simple and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. Overall, it’s a dependable spot for tasty Indian food at reasonable prices, and I’d definitely come back to try more dishes.

Linda Talos Its a West African casual dining place in Whitechapel. The entrance is located a few meters away from the back of the East London Mosque. We popped in after going to the cinema (Curzon) nearby. We opted for the meat platter for 2 as it was recommended. The food was amazing, especially the lamb, which was juicy and tender at the same time. our platter also had beef cubes on it which was also good but i preferred the lamb. The dish itself is not spicy at all so it has mild flavours, cooked with peppers, onions and their one herb blend but not spicy. The spice, if you want some, comes from the 2 side sauces the medium heat red one (slightly peppery and maybe has come cayenne in there) and the green sauce which is the real spicy one (i assume green chillies or similar) and the good news is you can use both sauces as much or as little as you like. For me it added depth to the dish. I also enjoyed the Guava juice. The dish is very big so we hardly finished 1/3 between the 2 of us, and ended up taking home the rest. Good food, nice spot for a quick and tasty halal meat lunch or dinner.
