5 /5 Victoria Moores: If you haven’t been here yet, try it. I had a lovely experience at Tonka this afternoon. From the moment I arrived, I felt seen and at home (as a solo diner, I really appreciated the corner table, rather than being seated in the centre of the restaurant). San and the team were great, and the food was superb. I’ve already booked again for next week. Please support this local small business; they’re doing a great job of offering unique and creative food in a comfortable cosy setting, with superb service.

5 /5 Paul Bobo: Delicious food and excellent service. Loved all of the dishes but especially enjoyed the Ribs, aubergine and crispy wontons. Really nice wine and cocktail selection too

4 /5 lupe Castro: Going by recommendations we decided to try it out . The food didn’t disappoint neither did the service good mix of original combinations and well Cooked food. It’s super small and when the downstairs gets full they do have an upstairs .. which is lovely id you manage to get the table with the view overlooking the sea !

5 /5 Evie Moore: Such a lovely space with a great menu, lovely, friendly staff (especially the guy working upstairs) and nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed our meal and the coffee and lemonade afterwards. Thought it was well priced for the quality which we found better than some well known/expensive London small plates restaurants. We’ll absolutely return when next in Hastings!

4 /5 Sanjoli Malani: Nice small place opposite the sea. The margarita was amazing! Limited veg/ vegan menu was a bummer. The aubergine is a must order. The fritters can be skipped. The feta spinach puff was also good! Dog friendly! Nice/ cozy place.
