What Clients Are Saying Tooktas Thai Food (GG)
5 /5 Joshua Simpson: We went last night after not being able to get in last week and it did not disappoint, amazing food and the service was amazing, the owner and the rest of the team were lovely. Although I am moving out of brighton whenever I am back I will definitely be visiting, sad to have found this only now after living here for 2 years!!!
The menu was also gluten free friendly!!
5 /5 Chris Panteli: Honestly, hand on heart, the best Thai food I have ever eaten in the UK. The flavours are incredible, the portions are generous, the atmosphere is wonderful, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Brighton. If I could give 10 stars, I would.
5 /5 Jenni Bond: I’ve lived in Brighton for over 20-years and only found this place tonight….and what a find! Excellent food, great ambience and top notch service. Honestly one of the best Thai meals I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy, full of flavour, and definitely cooked with passion. The fact my partner told me 3 times whilst eating his main ‘I’m coming back to this place’ was testament to how we both felt! If you’re out of town or lucky enough to be local, it’s a must visit! You can thank me later!
5 /5 Benny Cheung: A very unassuming restaurant tucked away in a quiet part of the city centre; the menu is simple - BUT - dont let that deceive you! This is an excellent thai restaurant. We went there for dinner when we were visiting Brighton, everything was freshly prepared and very authentic. The staff was attentive and welcoming. The Pad Thai was the best Ive had outside of Thailand. A must-go if youre in town.
5 /5 Franco Savastano: We visited Tookta’s restaurant by chance and had such a lovely evening. The food was delicious, well-priced, and clearly cooked with care. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and we ended up having a great chat and lots of laughs with Tookta herself, who has been running the restaurant for 16 years.
If you’re looking for authentic Thai food in Brighton and want to support a small local business, I’d really recommend paying them a visit. We’ll definitely be back.
Ivana Forman Lily was amazing, very friendly and attentive. Steaks were fabulous, had the butchers block. Rump not as good as the fillet and ribeye, marrow wonderful, salads full of flavour dressings. Onion loaf was delicious. Extremely good. Sorry about photos, we tucked in and forgot to take before eating!
John Ives I would like to say how well we were treated today by Sean .
We always go to Pret in Worthing and we have always found Sean to go above and beyond his duties. He always has a happy face and is always willing to help you.
lucy kefe we had an amazing evening here! the food was exceptional and the team go above and beyond. our highlights were the wattakka curry, egg fried rice, healthy green sri lankan, veg rolls and the watalappam dessert.
defiantly one of my new go to spots for a fun meal out :)
ZironTheDerg Genuinely, undoubtably, the best dessert place I know in Worthing.
The owner and staff are fantastic, the atmosphere rings of that cozy modern design, the food is exceptionally tasty (and well priced!) I’ve never been unsatisfied.
I couldn’t recommend it more, I’ve taken friends and family countless times and we all came out a thousand times happier.
Thank you Dolce owner! here are some photos of the stuff me and friends have ordered :)
Nick Byram I.like the relaxed feel of this place. Lots of advertised events. This place obviously evolves as the day goes on. Starting with a high end cafe, as the day goes on it morphs into a brunch bar then seamlessly into a restaurant/funpub and onto a late night bar come music venue. I was impressed with the advertising screens and colourful posters. A great outside area overlooking beach volley ball courts. I will definitely come again in the summer.
