Giri Mallikarjun I had the samosa, ginger chai, masala chai, and pani puri — everything was absolutely delicious! The flavours were rich and perfectly balanced. The homemade samosas stood out the most — crispy, fresh, and full of flavour. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys authentic, tasty food and chai.

I came back here under recommendation from the owner, I’ve previously had a tuna and cheese Jacket potato, this time I was more adventurous and was very delighted with the result! I went for a Cheese and Chilli Jacket Potato this time which I was thoroughly impressed with. Very flavourful, its got some good heat to it but not overwhelmingly so, the sauce was the highlight. Cooked beautifully, arranged nicely and it went down a treat, very filling and good value for money. £2 for a can isn’t too bad, though I wish they bundle in with their potatoes. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely and lively thanks to midsummer place’s food court seating area. I don’t really do jacket potatoes but this Cheese and Chilli one but I can definitively say was the best Jacket Potato I’ve ever eaten. SPUD5 may have a small menu but what they do do they do the best.
