5 /5 Nickin Sitaram: Having walked past this place a couple of times, I thought it was time to try it out with the family.
I was in need of some tandoor food and the kids, loving butter chicken, we had to give this restaurant a go.
We were all pleasantly surprised. I think you could say this restaurant is bit of a hidden gem.
From the tandoor, we ordered the fish, prawns , chicken and lamb. These were fantastic. All of they were succulent, with great marinated flavours but also holding some of the charcoal from the tandoor.
The wife and kids had the railway and butter chicken with some naans (garlic and cheese) and rice. The dishes came in a lovely Tiffin style container adding a real authentic presentation. They really enjoyed the dishes and there wasnt any left to doggy bag.
The service was excellent. The staff were polite and very attentive.
We booked via The Fork so we got a 30% discount. This meant we paid less than £100 for 6 mains, rice, 2 naans, drinks and 2 lots of salad and 3 dessers. This was phenomenal value.
Will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.
