Carol barrett We had a large reservation and honestly, what a night. The food was nice, the atmosphere was great, but the waitresses? There were two of them and they absolutely ran the place! Confident, sharp, and beautiful, handling our big table like it was light work. Nothing missed, nothing forgotten, always there when you needed them and looking stunning the whole time. We were all sitting there watching them thinking ‘wow’. They kept the whole night flowing while we were loud, hungry and ordering nonstop. Those girls really made the evening. Ate too much, laughed too hard, and left very impressed. Give them their flowers!!!

Agnese De Masi Lovely and cosy pub with a log fire and plenty comfy seats. The staff is very welcoming and never rushes you. Good choice of food. The location is in one of the best spots of Richmond, overlooking the river Thames. Large terrace with great views and free parking for customers.

Rumana Begum This was our second time visiting this weekend and can confirm it’s become a family favourite! The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The food is authentic and cooked fresh. The open kitchen allows you see the tissue like roti being made. The kids were mesmerised by it! We ordered Bang Bang chicken for start which were inhaled. For mains we order Traditional Nasi Lemak, Pad Thai and Beef Rendang with roti. The roti is so flaky and delicious. The portion sizes and generous. We had our table booked for 6pm and there were tables already reserved. I can totally appreciate why. To avoid disappointment reserve a table. We sure will be returning again!

Simone Wang It felt just like being back in Taiwan!! I loved the Sesame Oil Noodle, braised pork rice, pork rib soup and hot grass jelly dessert ,all were authentic. The mulled kaoliang was a lovely surprise too!! The restaurant has a warm Taiwanese vibe and feels really cosy!!

The food was outstanding from start to finish, but the Taj was on another level — every bite felt like I’d been transported straight to Morocco. The atmosphere is just as unforgettable. The restaurant is stunning, filled with lanterns and décor that capture the magic of Morocco perfectly. It’s not just a place to eat; it’s a full sensory experience that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. A special shout‑out to Semu, the manager, who took such great care of us throughout the evening, and to Gaby for the fantastic recommendations. Their warmth and attention made the night even better.
