5 /5 Edoardo Matarazzo: Great stop for a pint and a lovely glass of sumptuous Rose. Food was bad either! Tummies are full. Steak pie was very YUM ! Apple crumble was very quickly consumed!

5 /5 Mike Scythrax: Visited here on a saturday afternoon for a quick drink. However, it was such a warm and friendly place that we decided to stay for something to eat. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the food was well cooked and good value, with a range of dairy and gluten free options. We were here on holiday, but if we lived closer I would definitely be a regular visitor!

5 /5 Lauren Williams: A great and popular pub in Hastings, full of old world charm. Worth a visit. The food didnt really stand out for me beyond normal pub food. There is a decent selection of pub food on offer. I have visited before and sampled other dishes but today I had the tortillas. They could do with adding more flavour to the food and using better quality ingredients. The food fills a hole but it doesnt reflect the price of the food. There is a good selection of drinks available and it is probably worth visiting for this. Service was patchy. I was asked if I wanted ice and lime, I answered yes to both. I was given a large glass with no lime and a small amount of ice at the bottom of the glass. Service was not with a smile and it seemed forced rather than Service with a genuine smile. It is a lovely and extremely old pub with beautiful old beams. It is kept well clean and the toilet facilities were also of a good standard. The layout is easy to navigate but I would imagine that people in wheel chairs or with sight issues could struggle with access here.
