5 /5 Fatema Murtaza: Ammas bucket does not offer dine in, they only do Uber eats or takeaway orders. Their menu is quite decent with limited food. We have ordered chicken kothu / mutton kothu and biryani. The potion size is quite good, enough for 4-5people and very reasonable for the price.
5 /5 kasthuri haridas: When I walked into Amma, it instantly felt like home. The warm atmosphere and friendly smiles.
The dishes are rich in aroma and depth, every bite was full of spices, care, and tradition. The bucket biryani at Amma is the real show stopper. served steaming hot, packed with flavours. Delicious!
1 /5 Kuroi Shin: Ordered from Uber Eats. Order #13F65. The whole order was cold to a point - it felt like they took it out of the fridge and just chucked it in the plastic bag. Cold as it was, I tried it. Royal hyderabadi biryani was bland. The chicken’s taste in it was horrible. The texture was a few days old. Fish cutlets turned out to be fish balls. Not as shown as on the picture in the menu. Few days old too. The only okay-ish thing was the mutton roll. Less than 2 days old. The texture wasn’t that horrible. I have had a wonderful experience before. Sad to say the inconsistency is ruining it. It’s like gambling. You eat nice once and the rest of the times you don’t. Ruined my perfectly fine day. Don’t have it in me to give them another chance again. Highly recommended to STAY AWAY from this restaurant.
5 /5 Nirosh Fernando: Absolutely love Amma’s Bucket! The food quality is always exceptional – fresh, tasty and full of flavour. The staff are amazing and super friendly, and the portion sizes are great. I ordered the Mighty Chicken Koththu and Mighty Chicken Biryani buckets for 20 people on my birthday, and everyone loved it and asked where the food was from. Definitely recommend 100%!
5 /5 Isa de Graaf: A lovely spot for a casual dinner. The tomato basil pasta had a rich, aromatic sauce and the parmesan was freshly grated. The breadbasket was warm and soft. The only downside was a slightly long wait for drinks.
rose e Delicious chicken biryani – definitely a must-try! The chicken chilli was finger-licking good, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
Peter Nourello I get a coffee here most mornings. I get its 7am or something but the staff here just lack that little bit of finesse. Other McDonalds you go to, just have the basics sorted that you learn at school - "Good morning", "please", "thank you". Here when you go to the drive through you just get "You using mobile app today?" and then "next window". Occasionally, if they are particularly stressed or didnt hear they will bark out "WHAT?". The people who serve the food just shove it at you. Other places say "have a nice day or "enjoy". I get that staff are under a stressful environment and its early morning but honestly a little goes a long way. I doubt they will read this review but I think it would be prudent - it wont improve sales but for ones own personal pride. Anyway just thought Id drop my two cents.
Claire Mendonca-Yeboah An unassuming restaurant on the main road. We went in as a family of 4 without a booking at about 6.30pm on Valentines Day and they were able to accommodate us straight away.
We shared butter chicken curry, goat curry and lamb vindaloo, pilau rice, keema naan, tandoori roti and butter naan. The food was absolutely delicious and we pretty much finished everything we ordered. The tandoori roti was too crispy for our liking (the only slight criticism - the children and I prefer it much more soft and fluffy).
Staff are attentive, service is reasonably quick and the restaurant itself is decorated in keeping with its name. It was very quiet when we went in for about the first 30mins as there were no other guests and the restaurant doesnt play any music but it soon picked up post 7pm. We will definitely go again as the food was really good.
Yogesh Datta Nice, clean, honest fresh veggie food in a clean restaurant. Ans all this at a bargain price!
Sagar seems to have managed to hold on to pre covid prices. Pleasant service…
