Helena Eloise This is an incredibly funky bar. Feels very high end, modern interior. Lots of space including great outdoor area! We went for a private function. Drinks were higher end on prices (I am a northerner so it was to be expected!) £42 a bottle of prosecco and £9 a shot of Patron. However I loved the decor, vibe and the ladies toilets were stylish! Definitely a fantastic vibe!

Sandra Rhodes We popped to pizza express for a quick dinner before the theatre. We were greeted warmly and shown to out table quickly. The staff were really attentive and friendly and the food was lovely. We didnt have to wait long for the food to arrive either, plus an added bonus we didnt have to wait ages for the bill or to pay. Sam Block and Bar is a great spot for quality food with a modern grillhouse feel. I had the mixed grill, and the meat was excellent – tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. There’s a nice variety to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Portion sizes were on the smaller side for a mixed grill, but the quality of the food really stood out. What makes Block and Bar even better is the number of offers available. Since it’s attached to a Premier Inn, you can get 25% off food as part of the room deals, and if you sign up, you also receive 25% off meals, which makes it much better value. I also tried the breakfast in the morning, and it was tasty, fresh, and a solid way to start the day. Overall, Block and Bar delivers great-tasting food, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of deals that make it worth visiting whether you’re staying at the hotel or just popping in for a meal. A little more on portion sizes would make it perfect, but the quality and value balance it out nicely.

Sara Wilson Went for our anniversary this year. Absolutely lovely atmosphere, staff well presented and lovely with every interaction. Recommendations and suggestions of new wines to try if you let them know your tastes. Very attentive, waited till both of us were finished before removing plates and refilling of wine from the bottle we got was always on point we never had to ask. So all around great service. Food was served quickly and some dishes were something to experience not a lets take a photo of this which is a very nice addition to the meal. The photos are of the starter which was calamari and the desert flambé Crème Brûlée. The main came in straight from the pan onto the plate on the table. The food tasted fresh and well made. I would highly recommend this place, and prices are reasonable.

Ann Bush Paper Moon was a delightful place to spend New Years Eve and I imagine any other day as well. The dishes were all delicious and beautifully plated. The staff were friendly and attentive. Given the occasion, they had a DJ as well as live music throughout the evening. I could not say enough wonderful things about my experience there!

London firstuk Dined here many times. Friendly staff and outstanding service. Many dishes are not visible as theyre made fresh upon request (refer to menu). The atmosphere is warm and pleasing, with an ambience that beautifully blends modern and classic touches. Dishes are exquisite, bursting with flavour, and cooked accordingly upon request. Will wholeheartedly recommend!
