Alex Turff Enjoyed our meal here. Its off the high street, so is much quieter. Food was generally great. Getting bog standard frozen french fries for the chips side dish was a bit surprising, but I guess they really arent Italian. Both the seafood pasta and lemon chicken were tasty, as was the garlic mushroom side

Phanaelle Benie Gnaze It was a delight to eat at Alexs Place. We loved every bit of it and the staff were so warm and welcoming. The food was GREAT and so much that my spouse and I could not finish it so we took it home. We ordered a platter and we tried a couple of other dishes on the menu. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!!

Estelle Yip Scrambled eggs were fantastic, they were cooked well and not dry. I added some hash brown, and it was just right! Staff were friendly.

Kay Butler I pre booked a table for my birthday celebration. I got a few emails saying they were looking forward to welcoming us, and just checking I was ready wanted to cancel. We bought drinks first on arrival as we were an hour early, and sat outside in the sunshine. A great view and atmosphere of the Thames, Shard etc There was a mix of after work drinks, families etc I later told bar staff of my booking. The lady was really lovely and upbeat. She showed us to our table. A great choice of main meals, small plates, desserts etc The waiting staff were brilliant. Checking all was OK, food etc, and I was wished a great birthday. We will be back. A short train ride might be easier than parking outside, although you can put your registration number in for free parking. Rotherhithe has lots of history of the old docks and Brunel. A must for historians. Cant wait to visit again! Its a must! Thanks for making my birthday special!

Elena Barti After visiting the Edinburgh branch, I had high hopes. Indeed, the food was amazing and Rachel who looked after our party was lovely and very attentive. The monkfish was perfection, and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I have ever had. Will definitely be back soon!

Laurence René A fantastic Indian restaurant for both eating in and as a take away. We ate in this time with our parents as we were getting married on the IOW. Don’t forget to bring your own alcohol if you do fancy drinking. We loved our curries and the flavours were brilliant very rich and the dishes each had their own distinct difference of consistency and spice and herbs used. The menu is also great for vegans with lots of options to choose from! We highly recommend jaffran!
