5 /5 David Pigram: I recently had a festive celebration with a big group, and wow, it was absolutely fantastic! The service was spot-on, and the food was mouth-watering—everything from the Pigs in Blankets to the Christmas Pudding was a hit. We all felt so welcomed, and the atmosphere really made our night special. I’d totally recommend this place for a festive gathering next year! Well done to the entire team!

5 /5 Graham Law: I visited on the 5th December. I was on my own and older than the average clientele. Greeted and seated in the main area which was busy. Had a much needed pint, quickly delivered. Had a very nice starter and main delivered at just the right pace. The young waitress came to see if I wanted sweet. I didnt want a sweet and on a decided Tiramisu cocktail. At this point I asked the young woman if I could share something with her. She agreed and I told her my wife had just had a major operation and had been declared cancer free. I had one more tiramisu cocktail. When the bill came my drinks had been paid for by Cosy Club. Not expected, really appreciated. Thank you. Now I have my wife back home.

4 /5 Bryony Green: Booked for a large party of 25 for a birthday and all of the staff were so lovely and friendly. There were a few issues with the food but they were fixed. They were also incredible with accommodating a severe nut allergy, making sure the food was kept separate and marked. The food was very tasty, just a bit on the pricier side and quite small portions. However if you’re looking for a nice meal in a nice environment and willing to pay a bit more, I would definitely recommend. Thank you to all the wait and bar staff who looked after us, we had a great time.

The steak was a highlight — perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and among the finest I’ve encountered locally. Of particular note is the kitchen’s exemplary approach to coeliac dining: a broad, carefully considered menu that demonstrates both awareness and respect for dietary needs. The addition of Hawkstone beer on draft is a well-judged touch, enhancing the overall experience. Service, led by our servers James and Faron, were efficient and personable, contributing to a thoroughly enjoyable meal.many thanks
