Brady Brady We visited May 21, 2025. Thanks to some recommendations by locals via a Canterbury citizens Facebook page, we were pleased to have visited the The Goods Shed. We got to try free samples of some wonderful cheeses, before sitting outside to eat our purchases of cheese and cider. Its a really fun place.

D. Huss A very nice university restaurant with polite and welcoming staff. The food was tasty, and there are good options for both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a pleasant place to eat and relax.

Bruce Bolt Ordered the "chicken with green peppers in chilli sauce" for takeaway. Wasnt really sure what the dish would include, but asked for it to be spicy. They didnt disappoint. Both green and red chillies, plus bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, carrot, onions, green peppers and red peppers in a spicy sauce. Huge portion, both the rice and main dish trays were completely full. Food was hot and ready for collection earlier than the timescale given online. Would definitely go back if Im in the city.

Justine Chris We were lucky to get in on a busy and bright Saturday morning. Arrived just before the rush. Menu is quite incredible, lots of great vegetarian options. So hard to choose. They make their own pea-comole a pea based guacamole alternative, much more sustainable than avocado, and totally delicious. If your dish does not come with a homemade hash brown, order one as a side as they are incredible. Service, was slick, attentive and friendly. We don’t live in Canterbury but will certainly be coming back next time we are visiting!

Hayley Radford Celebrated my 50th birthday here last night. From initial booking communication was great, service was excellent and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. A lovely evening was had by all. Food was delicious and plentiful. Such a lovely pub with great atmosphere. Thank you Mark and Sam xx
