4 /5 Nandini Mazumdar: Good spot for Indian fare - we liked the kachori, the pav bhaji, the vegetable grill platter, the lamb seekh kababs, the salmon tikka, the biryani, the daal tadka and the saag paneer. Service was a bit of a miss - it took us a while to order the food, it was generally hard to get the server’s attention, and they were a bit dismissive when we did get their attention. The tables are also quite small, so we (group of 4) were constantly having to adjust or move our feet to make space. All in all, a good spot for the food, though some gaps in the overall experience.

4 /5 Rubina N: The food was excellent and I thought a good reflection of North Indian food. Highlights included the beef keralan, saag paneer, and lamb shank. The big plates are better value for money than grills / small plates. The chicken in Korma was slightly overcooked but everything else was excellent. Service was great and they were really attentive. We went during their post Xmas 50% offer. I do think generally prices outside of their offer (mainly for small plates / grills) are slightly overpriced and possibly not reflective of all communities living in elephant and castle (coming from someone who has been living here for almost 30 years!) So overall would recommend for the food and service but if you’re looking for value for money maybe head somewhere else.

5 /5 Shaista Farhan: From the moment I walked into Kachori, I felt the warm and modern London dining vibe. The ambiance is elegant, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a refined Indian meal. I tried a variety of dishes, and everything was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The starters were fresh and well-seasoned, the grills were tender, and the curries had a rich, authentic taste without being overpowering. Their breads and rice were also perfectly done. Service was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — which made the experience even better. Overall, Kachori is an excellent choice if you’re looking for modern Indian food in London with great taste, generous portions, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!
