Regal Fish & Chips - (Near , london)

Mrs Mcellan Headed in for a quick late lunch and really loved the food. However I feel compelled to write this review as the service wasn’t great at all. It seemed they did not care much about my visit or explaining the menu to me, even after I mentioned I had never visited before and was confused about the ordering/payment process. No recommendations, no words exchanged when serving/leaving, not even a ‘Enjoy’ or ‘Thank you’. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it seemed like a really hostile and cold environment. I hoovered up my food in 10 minutes and left, asking my leftovers to simply be wrapped up. I suppose + points for fast food so I could leave quicker :( I have had friendlier service getting McDonald’s Drive Thru so I really expected more for a ‘Restaurant’ experience.

Fatima S. This was a stunning, top experience. Have been to steakhouse places but this really is a place of great food and ambiance, simple yet elegant, so relaxing that we’ve stayed nearly 2hours just chatting and enjoying the food. The reception desk was attentive. We went around half past one, the place was not crowded but later on crowd turned up. Food was served on time, the steak was really good. In addition, before the meal they have given us a beef-dripping popcorn which is really really good - this is a plus! Customer service was excellent, they were busy but very approachable, especially to Charde who has assisted us brilliantly! Also prices are reasonable and they do have a lunch-early-dinner menu available apart from the main menu. Located near the dockyard. A great recommendation! Parking (as in free parking) is quite difficult to find, but carpark is available behind the restaurant.

M N This venue is constantly filled to the brim with customers. It has a wonderful buzzy atmosphere and there are a few shared tables and some private ones available too. The staff are welcoming, attentive without being intrusive. I visit here a few times a month and couldn’t recommend it enough. The food I used high quality ingredients and are well balanced and tasty. Each dish matches the season well and use simple clean techniques. The topped toasts are delicious, as are the soups. The drinks are also curated with care. The dishes are priced well. I would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. It’s great for day and evening meals.small and large groups are welcomed.

hassaan shafiq Baithak804 is hands down the best spot for Pakistani breakfast in East London. Honestly, we’re thinking of stopping our Ilford trips because this place delivers everything we go out for and more. We ordered halwa puri, haleem, and paya with roghni naan and kulcha, and finished with tea. Every single dish hit the mark. The taste is right up there with the big names, but what really impressed me was the portion size it felt more generous and properly satisfying. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. The staff are brilliant too warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell it’s a home run local business, and it’s even better knowing it’s run by two sisters and their brother. That personal touch shows in the food and the service. Parking is also straightforward. You can park at McDonald’s for 90 minutes, and there are plenty of other nearby parking options, so the location is super convenient. We had a proper family breakfast and loved every bit of it. Highly recommended if you’re in East London and want real desi breakfast done right.

Polly Wong Its comfortable and clean place to eat in. A half breakfast with a cup of cappuccino costs only £7. The mushrooms risotto is very creamy and delicious.
