4 /5 Yours truly: A lovely pub / restaurant in the Kent countryside! Excellent food and friendly staff. A couple of log burners and qwerky layout make for a nice cosy atmosphere. Pleasant views out the windows as this place sits perched up above the busy main rd below. Parking on site. Nice rooms and lovely mattress. Location is decent but the surrounding countryside is a bit disappointing and there arent any other pubs nearby at all. Would definitely go back for a meal but only if someone else drove.

Everything about our visit was excellent, the food was outstanding, the accommodation was comfortable and beautifully kept, and the hospitality was genuinely warm and welcoming. The staff were brilliant throughout our stay, with a special mention to Sam, who went above and beyond to make our experience truly memorable. His attention to detail, friendliness, and professionalism made a real difference and added a personal touch that didn’t go unnoticed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing break with great food and exceptional service
