Denise Lofts Must say that the new bar man Alex is very welcoming. Iv had a couple of bad days recently and he made me feel very welcome and made sure I had everything I needed. Also he asked the chef to make me garlic mayo. I enjoyed my chips more than I would have with out it. Thank you Alex

Kevin KC This was my first time at Konnichiwa restaurant. While it wasnt the most authentic Japanese cuisine (Not in a bad way), every dish was delicious. Each dish was freshly made and piping hot, showing the chefs dedication. The waiters were all very polite and friendly. Thank you, Navin, for your warm hospitality. The restaurant is small but very cosy. I personally highly recommend it. We will definitely be back!

Julie D We were gifted a sharing platter. Phoned to book the platter and arrange collection. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, the order was ready for collection as arranged. The food was delicious and more than enough for two. I would definitely use the Gurnard Press again and recommend.

Huyen Pham Wallahi this is the best sushi I’ve ever had! The burgers are also excellent and the meat is very well flavoured and the toppings have an exotic twist! The staff were very patient and even swapped sauces for me. Very accommodating, friendly and quick service.

MC KUZ OFFICIAL This restaurant serves very delicious and authentic food at a very reasonable price. The menu has a lot of dishes and is a bit hard to understand. The service was quite fast, but our waiter wasn’t Japanese, so he didn’t really know the dishes and couldn’t explain when we asked questions. Because of that, we had some trouble ordering. However, you can place your order using an iPad or ask a staff member, and the menu is available in both paper and digital formats. The restaurant’s space is quite simple, like a cafeteria, but the tasty food and cheap prices make up for everything. There were four of us, we had plenty of food and some alcoholic drinks, and the total was about £260 – very cheap for the quality and amount of food.
