Dowel Ahmed We went for breakfast on a Saturday, where it was empty so we were able to sit down anywhere and get served. There is a garden section at the back, which would be a great place on a summer day with the open roof. The food is standard breakfast fare, with a nice variety of items to choose from. We went for the full English and the Turkish breakfast, the children had sausage and scrambled eggs with pancakes as a take away. It was very filling, the items cooked well. As a local cafe it is a better alternative to the chain cafes, it is easily accessible by car or public transport and is on the high street so there is plenty to do afterwards.

Alex Vidic Ive been eyeing this place up for years and finally found a reason to come, and it did not disappoint. The Uyghur-style Laghman - stir-fried beef, peppers, onions and green beans in a tomato-ey, meaty broth, over fresh noodles - was excellent. The Somsa - I got the smaller oven-baked one - was clearly rolled with homemade dough, and inside was juicy spiced mincemeat and onion. Very tasty - not like UK pastries at all. The achichuk (a thinly-sliced tomato, onion and cucumber side salad) was fine - its hard to get good tomatoes in February in London, Ill admit, but they were a little grainy. I wont dock points for that. The salty tomato sauce was great. Ill have to come back for the kampot (homemade fruit juice), which they were out of, but they had Salaam cola, which is always nice to support. As for the vibe - I love a place with a few menu classics they know by heart, and the clientele seems to be all local - lots of Uzbek and Russian being spoken. Service was efficient and polite - especially recommendations. I will have to come back with friends to try their soups, dumplings and grilled meats. Its a sharing kind of restaurant - get a big pot of tea and chat over this delicious food. Portions are well worth the price, too. Will be back.

Sarah Fan We had a fantastic experience at here! We ordered the kids’ Margherita pizza and the fish and chips, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The portion size for the kids’ plate was just right, and the fish and chips were perfectly cooked, with the chips being especially tasty. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. A thoughtful touch was the box of crayons provided for kids to color while waiting—such a great way to keep them entertained. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

szeman. y The restaurant is decent with a cozy and chill vibe. The staffs are amazing and passionate. We ordered oyster - the signature dish, a must-order item, really nice and freshy. Other food like the crab linguine and squid ink risotto are perfect as well. I asked them do me a favor for adding a bday sign on the dessert cake. Super nice chocolate words and bday song music. The staff Shakh is pretty nice and helpful on it. Love the dessert! Wonderful night in Oysteria.

J S Very nice and cozy little french restaurant. Pleasant service and really good choice across all the main French classics. A bit on the pricier side but its in Covent Garden so understandable.

Michael’s Reviews What a wonderful experience! Sam’s Riverside provides a lovely riverside setting with a large, open dining room, high ceilings and plenty of light. The staff were all attentive and friendly and showed us to a beautiful table in one of the smaller side rooms, directly in the window, overlooking the footpath and river. The menu is robust and offers a beautiful assortment of starters, small plates and main dishes with a focus on modern British cuisine. The menus also leans towards continental European fare with a flare for seafood! The oysters! The seafood tower! Nice wine list and creative cocktails. A complete experience! Can’t wait to return.
