5 /5 Jason M. Chin: Popped in for some drinks a couple of nights while staying up the block at the Sanctuary House Hotel. Great atmosphere and history. Excellent pours and friendly service. Small space so be prepared to stand but worth the visit.

5 /5 Ash Purcell: This is quite the historic pub to drop in, watch a game and grab a bite and pint. It’s a quaint spot with limited seating. You will order everything at the bar and they will deliver your food when it’s ready. The food was good. It was warm but not Hot. The breading on the Fish and Chips was great but fish was over cooked and a touch dry. A shame because fish had great potential. Mac and cheese was great. We got the garlic bread with it and my wife said it was the star of the show. Wings came out very fresh. There was a real buzz about the place. They were busy throughout the time we were there. Staff was friendly. We would absolutely go back. It was also on the path as we were out seeing the sights. We had a great time!

5 /5 The Dogvine: We had such a lovely experience at the Two Chairmen. It’s a quaint little pub with a cosy upstairs area, and we visited with our dog, Piccolina, who was made to feel like an absolute star. Special shout out to the staff, Nat and Jo, who were incredibly welcoming — they brought her treats, made a big fuss of her, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We honestly can’t thank them enough for the warm welcome, especially to Piccolina. The food was really good — we weren’t expecting pub food to be this tasty, but everything was spot on. Highly recommend stopping by, especially if you’re with your dog. It can get busy downstairs but we sat upstairs where it was calmer. A wonderful dog-friendly spot we’ll definitely be returning to!

5 /5 punkrok22: I finally got that fish and chips I needed when coming to London. I was recommended this place by some locals and was glad to stop in for lunch. You choose a seat and then order food and beverages at the bar but they bring your food to your table. It feels like being in an old gentlemans club or something when youre inside. We each ordered a pint while we checked out the menu. Of course I had to get my fish and chips while my sister decided on a steak and ale pie. We both enjoyed our food and drinks while enjoying the rain outside. Great stop on our trip.

5 /5 Marcin Conan: A fairytale atmosphere in an old English public house. The service was absolutely delightful, and the food, like the typical Ale Pie with cabbage, mashed potatoes, and gravy, was DELICIOUS. The food alone can be had for under £20 per person, with drinks for £20-30. A delicious selection of beer and free water. We were very pleased, especially if youre looking for a dose of London in a nutshell while sightseeing!
