5 /5 Doug W: Being a visitor to Britain I was looking for a place to enjoy a breakfast more like those I can enjoy at home. Waffle Jacks met that wish. I enjoyed an omelet and even tried a 1/4 waffle. The proprietor was very welcoming and made my stay enjoyable. The food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. The coffee was good too, but unlike an American diner (or a Canadian one, some I’m a Canuck) they don’t offer drip coffee. The restaurant is very small, but they make extraordinary use of their limited space and people seem to roll with it. The service was top notch, the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. The only negative I can offer is the small size of the establishment, but really they manage that well. I don’t throw out 5 stars everywhere, but when I do they’ve earned it. I went out of my way to visit here , a long way out of my way, and it was worth the effort.

Run by a lovely couple who know quality freshly cooked food, if you’re craving juicy burgers and a fun atmosphere this is the spot. We’ll be back and will update based on the next meal we get.

5 /5 Indy Singh: I stumbled upon Waffle Jacks while visiting Nelson’s Medical Practice on Kingston Road, it’s literally just a stone’s throw away! The first thing that caught my eye was how fun and vibrant the place looked. It has that authentic American diner vibe, full of character and energy. The menu has something for everyone, but I went for the Full English Breakfast, while my wife chose the Corndog and Chips. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, freshly made, full of flavour, and served with a smile. What truly sets Waffle Jacks apart, though, is the exceptional service. I’ve never felt so genuinely welcomed or cared for in any restaurant. The owner came out personally to greet us, made sure we were comfortable, and took a real interest in how we were doing. When we decided to sit outside with our baby, he even came back out later to check if we were warm enough as the clouds rolled in, such a thoughtful gesture! I didn’t expect to enjoy our visit as much as I did, but Waffle Jacks completely exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return and try more from their amazing menu. Highly recommend this spot for both its fantastic food and outstanding hospitality!

The digital tables keep groups entertained, the Americana Over the top decor keeps the eye stimulated, and The food is always tasty. It’s fun, Indulgent, and very very friendly. We always come for a birthday treat, but also enjoy family night out.
