5 /5 Richard Keeley: One of the most pleasant surprises Ive had in London. A small, intimate and classy restaurant run, on our visit, impeccably by an attentive waiter and precise chef. The food was first class, and the tasting menu very cleverly devised so that each course was more flavoursome than the last, building-up to the unforgettable wagyu beef dish. All flavours were delicate yet perfectly balanced, the bread was freshly cooked and perfectly crispy whilst the souffles fluffyness compared to the standard of the best Ive ever had (Waterside Inn). And to believe that the entire show is run by two people is what impressed me NEARLY as much as the food itself. Cant wait to return.

You feel spoilt from the high end provenance of the ingredients to the mastery of the cooking and fantastic service. Really enjoyed it and shall be back! Delightful meal that was truly memorable.

Despite a team comprising only two - one managing the front of house and the other masterfully handling the kitchen, the service was incredibly good. It is quite impressive how they manage everything so seamlessly with such a small team. The food quality was reminiscent of a Michelin-starred establishment, offering a delightful gastronomic experience. Each dish not only tantalised the taste buds but also clearly displayed a genuine passion for cooking. This passion was evident in the delicate flavours and presentation of every plate. Service throughout the evening was impeccably timed. The staff were professional, friendly, and maintained the perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. An added charm was the small window opening into the kitchen, offering a glimpse of the chef diligently at work, further enhancing the dining experience. The wine selection was of outstanding quality, perfectly complementing the meal. Accompanying our dinner was a brilliant compilation of chilled 1980s hits, which added to the relaxed and inviting ambiance of the restaurant. A Sunday evening booking provided a unique and intimate dining experience, as the restaurant was exclusively ours. This privacy elevated the meal, making it not just dinner, but a memorable event.
