Silvermere Inn on the Lake - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Quinn: Excellent overall experience, plenty of seating. You can also book a table to make sure. I sat outside next to the lake. There are umbrellas with heaters if you decide to go in the winter. The steak was great and the brownie desert was also just as good. Great location and great overall experience.

3 /5 Piyush Patel: Went for lunch whilst picking up my new set of clubs. It wasn’t bad but definitely not the best . Some of the dishes were quite good like the hummus and bangers and mash but the Hotpot was really bad , seemed to have been in the pot too long , the meat was tough and the sauce .. can’t quite describe it .. it wouldn’t be a place of choice to have lunch again ….

1 /5 Mike Scott: We used to visit Silvermere regularly for their Sunday roasts even though it was quite a drive from home. There used to be lashings of gorgeous beef, two yorkshire puds and great trimmings including cauliflower cheese. It seems now the management has decided to cover a year’s inflation by seriously short changing their customers on the portion size and meat quality. The photos tell the story, almost exactly a year apart, a tiny portion of beef cut so thin you can almost see the pattern on the plate through it, pallid potatoes and the cauliflower cheese is now an additional side dish at £5.50 Far better quality roast dinners available almost anywhere for the same price so this is an unbelievably short sighted and stupid move by Silvermere. The rest of the menu is general pub and fried food which we can get at far better quality locally, so I really cant see us going back. You will see from my other reviews that I am almost always writing to praise a venue, so it takes a lot of disappointment to make me write a bad review.

5 /5 cat p: Beautiful hidden restaurant in the golf course, open to the public. Only found as our original restaurant was cancelled. The outside seating is lovely & serene - the lake makes for a gorgeous view. The peach & goats cheese salad was delicious, portion size was filling. The chicken florentine was a nice portion, but was quite dry - I has to request more sauce. Staff were attentive & enquired if all was ok. Would like to go back & try more on the menu. The wedding on that day was lovely too - congratulations!. I did have a lovely video of the venue but no option to attach it!. All in all a good lunch in nice surroundings.

5 /5 Deborah Quigley: Stunning location, with gorgeous views across the lake and golf course. We popped in on our way back from a day trip and were pleasantly surprised that, even though it was a sunny Saturday evening, there was so much space to sit by the lake and enjoy a nice meal outside. Its not as expensive as we thought it would be either, we paid £15ish each for a meal, which isnt bad at all for the quality and overall location. Service was fast and friendly. No specific dress code and just a very chilled vibe.
