Art Custard Best brunch/lunch spot in Upminster, Elm park and Hornchurch by FAR. Beautiful breakfast you can tell the food was all cooked fresh. Will defo be returning with friends and fam.

You could taste the quality and care in every bite. The doro wot was rich and deeply satisfying, with tender chicken simmered in a perfectly spiced sauce that had just the right amount of warmth. The beg wot was equally impressive succulent, slow cooked lamb infused with bold, aromatic spices that made every bite memorable. And the injera was simply delightful: soft, fresh, and perfectly textured to complement the dishes. It tied everything together and elevated the entire meal. Chi Man Chan ​If youre in Deptford, you absolutely have to try this place! My first experience with Caribbean food at this restaurant was incredibly impressive. The Food: Authentic & Great Value I tried the Oxtail and Curry Goat for the first time, and both were outstanding. The flavors were deep and perfectly soaked into the meat, which had a great texture—tender but still with a satisfying "bite." Everything felt very fresh and clean, and the portions offered amazing value for money. ​Atmosphere & Service: Friendly & Professional The staff were very friendly and patient, making me feel welcome as a first-timer. I also noticed that the kitchen was very clean and organized, which is always reassuring. Even on a Tuesday afternoon, there were many young locals waiting for their food, which gave me the confidence that this is a true neighborhood favorite. Coming to Deptford, you must try the famous Caribbean cuisine, and I truly believe the food here is as authentic as it gets—just like in Jamaica. Highly recommended!

Chloe Sills This place is AMAZING! EXPENSIVE but we had a great time... The views are literally incredible!!! You cant beat it... Super friendly staff Make sure you book!! Loads of people try and get in but no chance without a booking We shared 2 starters, prawns on toast and the duck gyozas!! Flipping mega, albeit the toast comes with tempura prawns...Good job they are delightful as I had ordered a tempura prawn poke bowl Husband had the tempura sword fish red Thai curry which was spicy and delicious Everything tasted so fresh! Proper vibes here, Bill was 90 quid so on the hefty side but worth it! If you want to book do it online as they dont really do it there, they did however telephone to confirm which was good
