Mark Geer What a little gem Bengal Berties is. I cant believe I had not seen it before last week. There were people in the restaurant who were regulars ! Why didnt I discover it months ago ? It looks really warm and cosy from the outside , with soft lighting and warm decorations and as soon as you open the door the sound of happy diners soft music and the delicious aromas of authentic herbs and spices greets you. Plenty of tables , and it was reasonably busy for mid week too. There is currently a discount for Wednesday and Thursday evenings , so get down there. We had the house Chat , a prawn Malai masala curry and the Railway lamb with Basmati rice and one drink . Excellent service from Robin, tasty steaming hot food , and a great atmosphere , along with the price made it a very successful evening a day one which I am eager to repeat soon.

Amandine B I went there for dinner with my two lads and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The dishes are simply delicious, very tasty (we had skewer chicken and lamb kebabs) and we liked the soft lighting and cozy atmosphere inside. The staff is also very friendly. I highly recommend.

Miranda Washington This is our regular Chinese takeaway. They are always friendly, food is ready in 10 mins or so. Food is always piping hot and delicious. Free prawn crackers and fortune cookies always go down well. Love the prawn toast, and the chicken in garlic sauce is so tasty. Good portion sizes

Jay Brown Went out for a Saturday lunch with friends. Great food, great service and all round great experience. Food portions were good for the price and our server Paula was very attentive-nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

George Isted My partner and I wanted somewhere a little bit special for our anniversary dinner and Tern delivered and more. A fantastic experience from arrival to leaving with friendly attentive staff and pleasant surroundings. We enjoyed the 5 course (+ cheese) menu and it can only be described as excellent. An amazing fusion and balance of delicate flavours (especially the halibut which was exquisite) that would be hard to beat and worthy of Michelin star restaurants I have visited in the past. Thanks so much for making it a wonderful visit including the extra’s provided for our anniversary. It was appreciated and I can’t wait to come back to see what is on the menu next time! If there was any criticism I would say the lighting above the tables was a little bright for a relaxed evening setting.
