Elena We had dinner here tonight and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was incredibly delicious, and the portions were generous, you definitely won’t leave hungry! Every type of meat we tried was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care. The staff were genuinely welcoming and attentive, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere from the moment we walked in. The whole place has a great vibe, comfortable, warm, and perfect for a lovely evening out. Highly recommended. We will definitely be coming back!!!!

Melvin Morris Ate here a number of times and always good food. The service is quick and the selection large. The price is very reasonable when compared with other eating establishments. The food served up is nothing fancy, so if thats what you want dont waste your time. If you enjoy good cooking and a workmens meal go here.

Aidan Magson We went to the Ivy Canterbury for lunch on a Friday. We had the avocado puree, sourdough bread and arancini as appetizers, it was all very good food. We had the cheese souffle and duck salad as starters. The duck salad was excellent, I would get this again. I couldnt help but think the cheese souffle was too similar to an omelette to be called anything else. For mains we ate scallop and prawn linguine and the Moroccan chicken. We were actually full before we even got to the mains, but the mains were lovely. We had Fiona serve us and couldnt have asked for better service, she was attentive and polite, every course came out in a timely manner. We also had two lagers each and a still water for the table. Overall, the meal was worth what we paid but you get what you pay for at this restaurant, I would go back again to try some of the other options on the menu.

Stephanie Elliott My partner already wrote a review many months ago about how we came here on my birthday. We came again on a 5 hour round trip. It was that good. I simply dont have the vocabulary to explain how good this food is. I love Jamaican food but it tends to all taste very similar. Not this stuff though. Its tastes so different to other Jamaican food. I saw its and original recipe . I dont even want to know the recipe because I simply cannot put that amount of love and emotion into a dish if I tried. This not only tastes amazing but it genuinely makes you FEEL something. The food is absolutely blessed and anyone who disagrees has no taste whatsoever. In terms of the pub itself it was quite nice. I usually hate pubs theyre loud sticky and a bit creepy feeling. This place is quite lovely and welcoming though. Theyre werent too many patrons when I recently went but everyone was having a good time and it meant the vibe was great. When I first went, there was a darts club and the guys were pretty loud. Im quite an anxious person but I think the landlady saw me and explained and apologised for the loudness and it set me at ease right away. I really appreciated that.
