Bharat Jain Lovely ambiance and great food. Portion sizes were great as well. Service was good, it was a Thursday and quite busy. We had all vegetarian food and some of it inspired me to make at home like the Nacho Chaat. Met Gullu ji and Dipna as well. Parking is easy and free for 3 hrs. Makes a lovely evening with family and it was our 25th wedding anniversary and they were kind enough to put on some music and sent a wonderful brownie for wifey and I. Well done Dipna in keeping the Brilliant name going.

bradley humphrey First time ordering from Mama Wok. Tried a few dishes and was really impressed with the quality, flavour and portions. The food tasted fresh and not oily like some other Asian takeaways. Delivery came in good time and well packaged. We will definitely order again and probably try some different dishes to explore the verity Mama has to offer. Thanks Mama!

Suzie Mckig As a huge fan of thai cuisine I was really excited to try this cozy, well received place. I have to say it was so on point and as great as everyone had exclaimed. The chili lime sea bass was INSANE! I’ve never appreciated a fish plate so much. Superb from start to finish.

Tina Priestman Our fabulous meal at Indian Essence in Petts Wood was made even more special with Gordons fabulous soft singing in the background. His voice created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere without ever overpowering the evening, it was the perfect accompaniment to a beautiful meal. We especially loved that he took the time to chat with us, asked about our favourite songs, and even treated us to a lovely little serenade. It felt personal and thoughtful, and really elevated the whole experience. Deus_Code Where do we even start? It is the most important landmark in central London. It calls to me like a sirens song across Victoria. I hand over £5 for the Mr tandoor box and it feels like I’ve committed a robbery. The chicken? Consistently perfect, soft and tender like a mother’s kiss. The peri salted fries? They should be regulated as a class A substance. They’re ‘basic’ in the same way the sun is ‘basic’: essential for life and glowing with power. But when combined with their signature sauces, it transcends simply ‘chicken and chips’ and becomes a spiritual awakening of your third culinary eye. I tell you now: if I am ever on death row, do not bring me a steak. Do not bring me a lobster. Go to Victoria, find bossman, and bring me the Tandoor box. I will go out with a smile and peri-salt on my lips. While the politicians argue down the road at Westminster, bossman simply serves the people. Long live the Mr Tandoor box, a king’s feast for a pauper’s coin.

James Wenman Held my 10yo birthday eats here today after enjoying Hollywood bowl on the same leisure park. The food is great and for 14 children’s meals with drinks and ice cream came to about £90 which we thought was good value. But the stand out for us today was the service. A warm reception with really helpful and attentive staff. A particular mention must be made for Parya and Paris who were just the best and made what can be a pretty stressful couple of hours an absolute breeze. Highly recommended.
