Joanie A We loved Saint Gabriel Cafe! The food was incredible, the server was so kind, and overall just had a wonderful experience there. Not a first timer for Ethiopian food and this was one of the best Ive had.

Veronica A lovely little place with a family atmosphere. Nice and fast service. Very good food. Slightly more expensive prices than other Persians. We ate late so bought a dish to share and a starter. The main course Bakhteari was very nice, Jujeh very juicy and with lots of flavor but the starter Mast -O-Khiar is perhaps a bit in the most expensive class. However, we did not get 2 skewers as shown in the picture on the website but a mixed one so a bit overpriced there too. Will definitely come back next time we are in London.

Sam Samuel Reading a couple of poor reviews here wonder if same restaurant? Accept any business there will be a lapse in service periodically, weve had a couple of bad ones over 14 years, but in main when we go there are familiar faces so a lot of regular customers. Staff always friendly. Service can be slow peak times when busy but comes with being popular. The food is great chef has won many an award. No alcohol take your own, so a claim they deliberately bring out food to force you to buy more is a questionable one. We also order takeaways arrives hot. Its a well established team, very personable nice venue nice ambience always recommend Dawat to friends and go in big groups. 95% of the time fantastic.

San s Came here for a celebration with family as i’ve heard good things. First of all, it was busy which was a good sign. The lovely gentleman managed to make space for us at the bar. The service instantly was amazing. Our food was really good, the vibe, the aesthetic. Everything about this place was so good. Sahil elevated our experience to the next level, told us what to get, served us drinks and overall looked after us extremely well. There is not a single negative thing to say. Highly recommend & will be back.

Steven Clarke We chose Mowgli’s for a birthday celebration and made a group booking in advance. When arranging it, I asked if we could have a set banquet, and was told this would include a starter, main dish, rice or bread, and a side order. However, when we arrived and began ordering, we were informed that it was actually a limited menu, which didn’t include many of the popular dishes. I spoke with the manager, who kindly agreed to add chicken tikka masala to the options, but we were then told that the banquet did not include a side dish — despite being told otherwise during the booking. When everyone was seated, poppadoms and sauces were brought to the table without being asked for or informed of any charge. We were later surprised to find a £40 charge for 20 poppadoms and sauces on the bill. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing, and due to the lack of clarity and unexpected charges, I wouldn’t be able to recommend Mowgli’s based on this.

Amir A Usual spot for me and my friends. Revisited yesterday and it’s genuinely such an amazing experience , everything was perfect. The laksa and the curry are my usual orders which are banging.
