I wish I had started with Turkish cuisine and stuck with it during my trip instead of the “popular/must-do” fish & chips and other street food. We were welcomed very warmly. Davey Johnson I’ve no idea when this shop opened but it looks very clean, the staff I’ve been served by on the occasions I’ve been there have always been polite and helpful. All food products are presented nicely and attractively. Furthermore, the Mocha is absolutely the best I’ve tasted anywhere! It beats the usual coffee shop mochas by miles! Recommended!

Martin Kimber Absolutely outstanding food. Well on par with far more expensive equivalents in central London. The staff were very hospitable too. The beer was slightly expensive for the area and maybe one or two too many kids (not the restaurant’s fault), but great atmosphere and decor. A stand out gem in Cheam, highly recommend. Also nice that it IS dog friendly (something they could do a better job of advertising).

It’s a family-run café and you really feel that warmth every time you walk in — the staff are genuinely welcoming and make you feel at home. The food is consistently amazing, especially the breakfasts, which are some of the best in Brixton. Everything is always fresh, well-cooked and generous, and it’s the kind of place you can rely on every single time. I’ve brought friends and family here over the years and it’s always the first place I recommend. I also love that they now have a bar in the evenings — the cocktails and atmosphere are brilliant and it’s become my go-to spot before and after gigs. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Always leave happy, full, and already planning the next visit.
