H Hunt We had a table of 7 and were immediately accommodated despite the pub and restaurant being very busy. The manager who served us, Samuel was funny, polite and incredibly welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The two ladies behind the bar who I noted their names Olivia and Louisa were so nice to my children and made them laugh and smile throughout the many interactions at the bar. The food was fantastic, cooked perfectly with ample sides. Our chef was the kitchen manager Christopher so I’m told. Christopher, thank you!! I personally tried a new signature burger which was huge, and amazing value for money. My partner’s allergy was catered for with expert knowledge and it was a marked change from feeling like a burden having to explain what a gluten intolerance meant in many other establishments. The food arrived quickly too, so we could all eat together despite ordering apart

Lauren Kenny We had an amazing Valentine’s Day meal at The House. It was busy but the service was prompt and friendly still. We were so impressed by the food! The prawn cocktail had a very generous serving of prawns. The star of the show was the beef wellington. It was absolutely amazing and could rival one that I had at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen last year. I’d definitely recommend here for dinner to anyone visiting Brighton. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit this restaurant all the time.

Amelia H Me and my partner really recommend this restaurant, I am a coeliac and all the food is made very fresh, it is the best authentic Pho in Brighton! The owner is very friendly, he even looked after my partner’s wallet when he accidentally left it there.The prices are also very affordable. 10/10

Victoria Buccellato Came for a date night, we ordered a sharing meat platter between 2. Personal favourite was the fillet steak and sirloin cut. The other 2 cuts not as nice, But that’s personal opinions. Came with two sides ( chips and mash for us. Delicious! ) Our waitress Amber, did a fantastic job. Thankyou for the lovely evening. Tracey Dorset A nice cafe to buy a coffee very friendly staff. So lovely to take a walk around the lake. There are plenty of benches to sit on to enjoy the surroundings. Great for all ages a really nice park.
