5 /5 Muzza Dun: Just popped in for lunch with my son who loves Italian food. We were not disappointed. But what makes this place special is not the home made pasta, delicious panna cotta or the lunchtime specials - all of which are wonderful- it’s the obvious passion for good honest food and warmth of the owners/chefs. Will be back very soon.

5 /5 Bárbara Maldonado: I was having a post Italian holiday depression moment. Trust me, it was horrible and blue. A very ugly shade of blue. Decided to take myself for a walk around the neighbourhood and drop the clothes I worn in my holiday to the dry cleaners when I came across this restaurant. I think I’ve seen it many times, but not really. I think I needed to go back to my most immediate happy place and asked the lovely owners to see the menu, to decide if I’d have lunch or starve myself till the evening. When I saw “Pana cotta”, my heart made the decision, I mean my heart-stomach. Ive ordered a starter, the arrabiata pasta and the most life fulfilling pana cotta. The place, the pictures, the people speaking Italian and the happy faces reminded me that how beautiful and important is to have places that feel warm in a city London like London. I’ll be back before the World Cup! I’ll bring my friends and myself over and over this gem in east London. Can’t wait to try the entire menu and the specials! This place has a heart and it’s delicious. Don’t miss out!!! Muchas gracias!

5 /5 Rob On The Road: Mo’ Mangio is a proper handmade pasta restaurant where quality and passion are evident in every detail. The pasta is freshly made, perfectly cooked, and full of character, with sauces that are balanced and comforting rather than overpowering. What really elevates the experience is the hospitality—Alessio, the owner, is a superb host who makes you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. There’s warmth, pride, and authenticity in both the food and the service. A place that celebrates real Italian cooking and heartfelt hospitality, and one I’d happily return to again and again.

5 /5 Karen Zhou: Always a lovely experience with Mo Mangio - whether it’s a takeaway or dine in. We have been ordering from Mo Mangio since they were in a tiny location near Dalston Junction station - food is amazing, perfectly seasoned and reasonably priced. We’ve probably tried every dish on the menu and haven’t found anything lacking, but the carbonara, amatriciana and ragu are our go tos. The tiramisu is also a must - so fresh with the right balance of sweetness. On top of the delicious food, the service is fantastic and so quintessentially Italian. The owner is passionate and enthusiastic about his food, with spot on recommendations. We’ve loved the experience so much it was our first date night post baby - and we can’t wait to go back again!

5 /5 Jean Baptiste Hallaire: One of my new favourite neighbourhood places! Love the laid back ambiance, and the food is just delicious. It really feels like we are being served home cooked food - warm, generous, simple and tasty. The owners are lovely people, who do their best to make you feel at home. Love it!
