The Kids Tell Bad Jokes Was tempted to have 5 Guys takeaway delivered (Im in Oxford for overnight for a conference), but decided to go independent instead. Nearly didnt order from here as was looking at Deliveroo and couldnt see milkshakes available (which I definitely wanted), but they were available if I ordered from Just Eat... Unavailable to order on their own, but could be ordered if I added as an upgrade to the meal deal drink, bizarrely. Anyway, very glad I did! Smokey Texas Burger looked a bit small, but was DELICIOUS. Cajun fries also great. Probably would be too spicy for my kids (and theyre not exactly wimps) but spot on for me. Funnily enough, the oreo milkshake was the only disappointment - with no straw supplied and a big wodge of whipped cream on top, it was tricky to drink, and I was more looking for a thick McDonalds style sludgy shake, where this was a bit thinner. But still nice enough and it hit the spot. Would definitely recommend the burger and chips though!

J Palmero Lunch on a sunday. Loved the calamari, curry and their veggie wok rice. The fallen pornstar drink was very tasty!

George Edwards It was my first time dining at Cuttlefish. I made an extremely last minute booking and the staff were kind enough to accommodate that for me. Not only that but the staff are friendly, attentive and warm. The food comes in more than reasonable portions and is absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a place to dine out in Oxford where it’s not going to break the bank but get top quality service and food then Cuttlefish is where you need to head.

Axel Ceha We visited Taberu in January and had a wonderful experience. The ramen was absolutely delicious – perfectly balanced broth with great depth of flavor. The crispy prawn uramaki was a standout too, with excellent contrast between the crispy texture and fresh ingredients. The quality of the food really impressed us, and it’s clear why Taberu has become a go-to spot for Japanese cuisine in Oxford. We’ll definitely be back!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Shune Shune Lae Ei We had reservation for the birthday and we enjoyed the food since it was a special Diwali menu and it was so good. Tapa was also good and the curries are to die for. Our server, Narendhar was very friendly and welcoming and made sure that we had a good time. They also gave us a mini cake and cotton candy for our special day! Yhe atmosphere was cozy and the music gave us the vibe of Indian culture! Will definitely go there again!

Ali G Simply the best. This restaurant has a huge variety of options! Everything from grills to homemade soup of the day, stews, slow cooked traditional dishes, döner kebabs, and so many others I probably haven’t tried yet. Everything I have tried has lived up to my expectations, and I love how your order is grilled in front of you! They are super fast too, once you order and choose any meat from the see through fridge, it is immediately handed to the grill chef and starts cooking! Döner varieties including wraps and döner-on-rice are the best you’ll have in Oxford! Homemade dishes are so good that they run out quickly. A must visit, absolutely worth the price. People who work there are absolute champs they are very kind and always positive despite working loads and being under pressure at all times.
