She was there from start to finish, quietly making sure everything ran smoothly — a true credit to the venue and an absolute star. The whole day felt like a well-oiled machine, allowing us to relax completely and simply enjoy every moment. Every guest commented on how wonderful the food and service were, and we couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our wedding. Natalie Walker Had the most wonderful evening with family at Le Secret Garden. This is a real gem hidden in the beautiful village of Great Halseley. The food off the Spring menu was delicious and the flavours and presentation was delicate and beautiful. I will most definitely be coming back to try the other seasonal menus.

Montgomery Dean Whole experience was exceptional. Can’t fault in anyway. A cool insight in to Egyptian food culture. Molakhia was really interesting in taste and texture. Loved the use of pickles and tahini as an accompaniment - works so well with the grilled meats. The place is family run and the hospitality was 10/10. Such friendly people and such good food. There was even a good vibe between the tables. One of my best meals of 2025 (it’s 2026 in less than two days).

Harry Goldsmith Visited The Sussex Ox recently and it was a great experience. The setting is beautiful, especially with the views over the South Downs perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The food was excellent, really fresh and well presented, and the portions were generous. Service was friendly and welcoming without feeling over the top. A proper countryside pub with quality food and a great atmosphere. Would happily return.

Ivan Galt I got some chicken tenders on a whim as I had to wait for a train. Just finished them and Im highly satisfied. Great service, the serving was generous and the chicken was fried beautifully. I was also offered a choice of dips - the Nashville sauce was a good level of heat :) 5/5 cannot fault and would recommend to my mother.
