What Clients Are Saying SUDU - Malaysian Eatery (GG)
5 /5 DAVE THE ITALIAN DAD: Malaysian food is a bit spicy for me, but the wife loved that. My pad Thai was very very tasty. The less stars given for the atmosphere and service is because we were asked to wait, even if there were empty tables ( allegedly booked, but the people arrived AFTER we already finished and were going to pay). But as restaurant goes, very nice and suggested. The anchovies ruth peanuts entree... amazing
5 /5 Bessy: One of the best malaysian restaurants I have tried in London. Wonderful food that made my day - authentic and aromatic. The kopi is to my liking, lovely and smooth! On top of it the service is another highlight that made my day. The waitresses were very polite and caring. They clarified our queries and had bright smiles on their faces. Lovely place with lovely food and people❤️
5 /5 Mohammed-Ali Dewji: A very chic and clean setup. Loved the mood lighting and the actual real candles. The restaurant was a little tight but cozy, perfect for a cold night. The Roti Cani and Laksa were phenomenal and the Beff Rengdan was also pretty good (beef was a little tough). The Spicy beef berlada was a little too strong with the shrimp paste chilly. Overall loved the location with a nice cozy setup and good comfort food for a chilly night.
5 /5 Kirsty Marrins: Great neighbourhood gem serving delicious, authentic Malaysian food. We went on a Wednesday night and it was buzzing. I only wish they’d add sparkling wine options to their wine list!
5 /5 Lily Sofea: Its an amazing place … period. Malaysian food in a very modern cafe vibe. Doesn’t play Malaysian music and it doesn’t have too much of that classic home vibe which is not necessarily a bad thing. So its a mix of home and London which is chill and I like. Like the bar lady was wearing traditional clothes which was cute for that local touch. Food was good. Had nasi lemak, the breakfast kopitiam- ie malaysian style toast and eggs. If you’re craving that, this is the place for it, spot on. The nasi lemak was ok, cant scream about it though. Id come back from sure!
asu c Very lovely service and food. I went with my family, the ambiance was calm and cozy. My personal favourite was the aubergine starter and the mixed skewer platter.
Leire G. Authentic Italian food and great value, especially with the lunch offer. My son had the margherita pizza and said it was the best pizza he’s ever had. We also tried the bruschetta, gnocchi with pesto, and spaghetti with prawns and tomato — everything was really tasty. The service was warm and welcoming too. We’ll definitely be back soon.
Hems Patel The mixed grill was outstanding, and the Kabuli pulao was fantastic. All the vegetarian food we tried was great too – the aubergine dishes were really tasty.
The lady working here was so fun and welcoming – she really made our time great. Those Chips
If I lived closer, I’d be back in a heartbeat. A must-visit in London!
I wish this business great success for 2026
Pete B Our favorite local Italian restaurant. Fresh homemade pasta, great pizza, and extremely friendly service. Specials change every week, so always something new to try. Family owned and operated - can’t recommend enough!
gloria ceniceros The food tasted fresh. I ordered the thali, and it was flavorful. I would recommend sharing. It was too much for me to eat by myself. The dessert was sweet shredded cashew dish. It was the perfect dessert to compliment such a big meal. I would definitely come again.
