The Comodor Café - (Near , South East)

5 /5 j: An easy five stars. Decent food, excellent value, efficient service, friendly people. Theres a big old menu to choose from with all sorts of options, but the thing I like best about the Comodor is that if you get a jacket potato you get to choose two fillings - or more for a supplement (theres a similar arrangement for toasties and paninis). And theres a lot of great stuff to choose from. Smoked salmon and avocado jacket potato? Yes please! It was as good as it sounds.

5 /5 GHeather Lucas: Went here with my daughter and we both ordered the special all day breakfast with a pot of tea for two. Two eggs benedict with smoked salmon, avocado, tomato and bacon on breakfast muffins with hollandaise sauce. It was absolutely delicious! A good large portion, excellent value for money, and great service. Highly recommend!

1 /5 Jo: After coming in for a quiet lunch, I will never be returning. While sitting downstairs with my daughter and friends I was subjected to an unprovoked homophobic attack by another customer. Other customers requested he be removed but instead the owners ushered him upstairs. They never asked if I was ok and seemed more interested in protecting the homophobic man from the other customers who were cross on my behalf. To put it into perspective, I have very short hair and a scar running across my scalp from a recent cancer operation. I can’t walk well due to disability and had my walker next to me. Somehow that made me look like a lesbian to this man and obviously an easy target. Disgusting attitude by the owners who supported this appalling behaviour. Food was dry and tasteless and service non existent anyway. Just wanted to warn others not to make the mistake of entering this place.
