5 /5 Paul O’ Brien: This is my local, it’s really nice and the latest landlords are really lovely. My favourite place to stop for a pint at the end of a great cycle journey. In the past one could bring bikes through the gate, so perhaps that will be reinstated in the future, or the front area with no table on the street could have a nice place to lock up bikes safely. Deffo recommend.

5 /5 Teri Farrell: We went on Sunday with friends for a roast dinner - excited to go due to the new owners and all the good reviews we’d had from friends. It did not disappoint- the food was exceptional and the service brilliant. The vibe and atmosphere in there now is fantastic - the fires were roaring and jazz music was playing in the background. We stayed there all afternoon and had a great time - my new fave pub - can’t wait to go back ❤️

5 /5 Simon Rose: We stopped by on a Monday, not aware of the change of ownership, Id checked the reviews just before setting off to see what was on tap as wed been there a few time before. I was a bit cynical about the plethora of new reviews saying it was great. I was very wrong. Its definitely much much better than before and the reviews were right Masimo ( spelling?) behind the bar was very friendly offering a taste of the cask beers and chatting about stuff They have three real log fires which were wonderfully warm and somewhat magnetic at this time of year, but as there were three there was space for everyone to cluster round an open fire and revel in it....:-) Wine was super cold. Prices much beter than before. We now need to pop back for a Sunday roast. Very dog friendly, but we didnt have our one this time

5 /5 nicky Ross: Just been into the pub and met the new owners. Lovely couple. Great service. Friendly people and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend under the new owners. Dog friendly.

4 /5 mark young: Great Sunday roast for veggies. Mushroom pie was enjoyable and good gravy. Well priced. The meat eaters enjoyed theirs but all the food was not medium rare as told, more well done but still happy diners. Would come back happily. Nice cozy country pub atmosphere in London
