1 /5 Kirstie Dickson: From the second we walked in, the atmosphere was off. Everyone looked so miserable. We were shown to our table and when our order was taken, the server was blunt. No smile. Didn’t feel welcomed. We had to ask 3 times for tap water and just got told “yes it’s coming” no one checked back on us. When we asked for the bill, it came with a £9 service charge. Now usually I’m more than happy to pay a service charge, but in this case, what service? When I asked for the service charge to be taken off the bill, the bill was snatched out of my hand. We was waiting to pay but no one was attending to us, so I walked up to the till where the gentleman wearing glasses (I assume he’s the manager) proceeded to turn his back on me, and then just walked away. As for the food, it was bland, the best thing was the bread and calamari. Definetly not worth the price. The team there need to get their act together and learn how to smile and treat people with respect.
