4 /5 Mohsin Zameer: Ive been to the Knightsbridge and Edgware Road branches, so I had high hopes for West Hampstead—and it did not disappoint.
The food is absolutely amazing. That signature "fiery" chargrill flavour is front and centre here. We had the mixed grill and the shish tawouk was incredibly juicy, the lamb kofta was perfectly spiced, and the garlic sauce (toum) is dangerously good. The hummus was silky smooth and clearly fresh. Everything tasted authentic and packed with flavour.
What really made the evening special was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and happy to recommend dishes. Its rare to find service this warm and genuine—they genuinely seem to care that you enjoy your meal.
The only reason its a 4.5 rather than a 5 is the seating. It can feel a little tight when busy, and the decor is fairly simple. But honestly, when the food and service are this good, you barely notice.
If youre a fan of the other branches, this one holds its own. Fiery food, amazing staff, great value. Highly recommended.
