5 /5 H I: I enjoyed a most pleasant Friday early afternoon at The Albion in Hastings Old Town.
A perfectly executed hot cappuccino, accompanied by excellent deli offerings, provided ideal refreshment while I listened to engaging live folk music in the welcoming seafront bar.
The pub attracted a diverse and convivial mix of patrons: younger drinkers enjoying the atmosphere, seasoned regulars at the bar, and numerous dining customers savouring the renowned pies.
Particular credit is due to the exceptional landlady and her attentive staff, whose warmth and professionalism greatly enhanced the visit.
A splendid example of a heritage pub thriving with genuine community spirit.
Five stars. Highly recommended.
