Doug W Being a visitor to Britain I was looking for a place to enjoy a breakfast more like those I can enjoy at home. Waffle Jacks met that wish. I enjoyed an omelet and even tried a 1/4 waffle.
The proprietor was very welcoming and made my stay enjoyable. The food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. The coffee was good too, but unlike an American diner (or a Canadian one, some I’m a Canuck) they don’t offer drip coffee.
The restaurant is very small, but they make extraordinary use of their limited space and people seem to roll with it.
The service was top notch, the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. The only negative I can offer is the small size of the establishment, but really they manage that well.
I don’t throw out 5 stars everywhere, but when I do they’ve earned it. I went out of my way to visit here , a long way out of my way, and it was worth the effort.
