Mark Taylor We had an early Sunday lunch at The Swan, and have been a couple of times before. We were served by Ethan, who was appropriately helpful. The food was delivered quickly and fab - both roasts and kids food, the latter of which was really reasonably priced. Lovely place to boot. Top marks all round!

Doug W Being a visitor to Britain I was looking for a place to enjoy a breakfast more like those I can enjoy at home. Waffle Jacks met that wish. I enjoyed an omelet and even tried a 1/4 waffle. The proprietor was very welcoming and made my stay enjoyable. The food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. The coffee was good too, but unlike an American diner (or a Canadian one, some I’m a Canuck) they don’t offer drip coffee. The restaurant is very small, but they make extraordinary use of their limited space and people seem to roll with it. The service was top notch, the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. The only negative I can offer is the small size of the establishment, but really they manage that well. I don’t throw out 5 stars everywhere, but when I do they’ve earned it. I went out of my way to visit here , a long way out of my way, and it was worth the effort.

Binodh C.B. We love coming to the Poacher and Partridge, sat beside the live fire sipping wine and a sumptuous meal. Food is brilliant especially the puddings. Tanya who served was extremely courteous friendly and helpful. Will be back soon.

ALB DnB Absolutely amazing fish & chips, met with the most amazing smile & welcome from Pam, lovely chatting with you! My partner mentioned we were here for my 30th so she brought us out more food on the house! Fish was so fresh, crispy and piping hot! Shad Ive been here a couple of times now just for the pies so cant comment on the pub, but the pies are great as was the macaroni cheese. I had the chicken and leek pie with meat gravy. The service was also great even though it was busy, they took no time to take our order and were very friendly.
