5 /5 Lucy Patey: Came to the Balmoral on the evening of the 19th January for my birthday with my Mum & Daughter. Within a couple of minutes of arriving I was given a lovely gin selection box & card for my birthday. A really lovely touch I wasn’t expecting. Our waitresses were Charlotte & Rhianna. They both provided impeccable service with nothing being too much trouble. My daughter has a nut allergy and Charlotte promptly cleared her napkin & cutlery giving her new, hand washed cutlery as per the allergy contamination rules. A fab touch I’ve not seen anywhere else. We all enjoyed our meals which were yummy. Charlotte & Rhianna then sung me happy birthday while bringing the puddings. A really lovely evening made perfect by such fabulous service! Please ensure both ladies receive the recognition they deserve! :)

5 /5 Lara Thomas: The food was delicious - my roast was tender and tasty. Robyn our waitress was lovely. Friendly, helpful and just great. It was our daughters birthday (which had been filled in on the booking form) - such a treat to get to the table and find sweeties and a card! So special. Well come again definitely! Xxxx

3 /5 graham Wiseman: Family meal out. Sadly had to wait a bit too long for our food. Had to ask where it was, waited about 30-35mins after finishing starters. Sea bass was dry & overcooked, my burger was sadly dry - was really looking forward to it. Cauliflower cheese was inedible & looked like baby food - sent it back as it was so bad. Kids enjoyed their food, chips were good & staff were great. 1st time in a beefeater for 30 years and sadly would rush back. Photo is the Cauliflower Cheese. Id have been embarrassed to bring that out.

4 /5 Jon: Myself and a friend visited on a weekday evening for a meal & drinks. We hadn’t prebooked a table and were told on arrival that there were no tables, so were directed to eat in the Bar area. I ate a pie for mains and crumble for dessert. All food & drink ordered at the bar. The downside was that due to short staffing we had to clear our table of plates & glasses from the previous customers, although a member of staff wiped the table clean.

5 /5 Tony Goodridge: Mikey always willing to go the extra mile for breakfast - lively poached eggs with a smile and happy to help whenever i visit - great value for money and rewards scheme gives me discounted meals when i need them. Always an empty olate afger a great breakfast
