4 /5 Cheng Wang: My wife and I dined here a day before New Year’s Eve and we left a little disappointed. Quickly on the good-to-great things for a restaurant of this caliber given its price point, location, and subtle panache: 1. The staff was attentive, well trained, and polite 2. Service was excellent 3. Drinks were excellent 4. Dessert was fantastic Now for the disappointing and I’ll focus on the sushi, specifically the nigiri. The sushi rice, which is the most important part of a nigiri was sorely lacking. 1. The rice was under seasoned if at all 2. Too much rice was used per piece of nigiri 3. Some of the rice was undercooked where the center of some grains were still hard and grainy 4. The rice lacked coherence or enough stickiness where it easily fell apart once picked up For a restaurant where sushi is a dominant part of their menu along side their very premium price point, I expect far higher quality and attention to detail.

5 /5 Andri A Google: We had such a great evening here and it honestly started with the warm welcome and ended with us smiling all the way out the door. Manuel took incredible care of us, he was relaxed, kind, and made the night feel easy from start to finish. He guided us through the champagne and signature cocktails, and his recommendations were spot on. The food was unbelievable, plate after plate. The crunchy crab and avocado, the satay beef, the black cod, everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. You can really feel the passion coming out of the kitchen, the whole team back there is doing something special. The dishes arrive looking beautiful and tasting even better. What stood out most was the overall atmosphere. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and switched on, you can tell they work well together and care about the experience they are giving guests. It makes such a difference when a place runs with that kind of energy. We left already planning our next visit. Huge thank you to Manuel and the entire team for an amazing night.

5 /5 Maitha Almansoori: Bar des Prés is truly a hidden gem in London. From start to finish, the dining experience was outstanding. The food was exceptional – every single dish we ordered was a perfect 10/10, beautifully presented and full of rich flavors. The service was equally impressive, with staff who were not only attentive but also genuinely friendly, making us feel very welcome. The atmosphere adds to the whole experience – elegant yet cozy, with a warm and inviting vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Definitely not my last time dining here, I can’t wait to come back!

4 /5 Paul Clifford: Came here for our anniversary, not sure of what to expect. Upon reflection its a great little place where the food is outstanding with the price both a reflection of that and the location. Shout out to the CALIFORNIA selection which was fantastic as was the Sushi Rice. So, if the food is fantastic, what are the negatives? Just two really.. the wine list, whilst extensive, is toppy. There isnt a huge selection under £100 and nothing(white) under £80. If you are happy to spend a few hundred pounds on a bottle, there is plenty to tempt you. Second, the discretionary service charge at 15%(!). I didnt notice it at the time, but the service, whilst attentive, did not equate to that. Would we go again - yes. The food outweighs the other issues. Enjoy!
