5 /5 J N: Beit Cafe, Golders Green – nice spot for brunch. Came up from Sutton (SW London) today just to give this place a try for brunch, and it was worth the trip.
I had the New Yorker – fresh sesame bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and a couple of fried eggs on top. Came with a little side salad that had a tasty dressing. The bagel was soft and not too chewy, which I liked. Eggs had nice runny yolks, and the cream cheese had garlic and dill in it, which gave it a really good flavour.
Also got a cappuccino and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were fresh – coffee was smooth, cookie was warm and nicely balanced, both sweet and salty, tasty!
Staff were friendly and helped me figure out what to order. Will definitely come back to try other things on the menu.
Solid place for brunch in the area.
