Mitch Helwig If youre seeking a delightful and welcoming spot along the Thames in Richmond, you simply must visit this authentic German Beer Garden! Just a short stroll from Richmond Bridge, it boasts incredible, panoramic views towards Richmond Hill. Beyond the scenery, we loved the true family-style experience, complete with shared tables shaded by large umbrellas which are brilliant for protection from the elements. Its clearly a place that embraces everyone, as its wonderfully pet-friendly. The combination of superb food and a genuine selection of Munich beers made for an unforgettable afternoon. We cant wait to go back!

Kyle Brown I was invited for a business meal here recently. My companion ordered some croquettes for me. I have never had such delicious food before. I will be attending again and trying more soon. My only regret is I was so focused on the discussions at hand that I left without giving my compliments to the chef. I will be phoning when its open to personally thank them. Absolutely amazing food. J S Absolutely lovely place. We went to celebrate a birthday and were so pleasantly surprised when a small birthday cake appeared – such a thoughtful, lovely touch that really made the evening feel special. The food was fabulous: high quality, comforting and genuinely delicious, the kind of food you keep thinking about afterwards. The whole place feels very homey, and it made a big impression on everyone at the table. The décor is beautiful, and the service from Lola was impeccable – warm, attentive and spot on. The only small drawback was the 10% service charge added to the bill. The prices felt fair but not cheap, and personally I prefer service to be included in the menu prices rather than added on. That said, it wouldn’t stop me from returning – I’d happily come back.

Claudia Tuohy It was a lovely evening, in the garden, great food, friendly welcome and service. New menu is great and lovely wine. We had ribs, croquettes (mushroom and truffle) and chips and slaw. All were delicious, best ribs I’ve had in a while! Really enjoyed, splenic new beers on too.
