5 /5 Deepak Nambisan: I have recently started visiting Clapham regularly and I noticed that ‘Blossom by Khans’ is the best reviewed local Indian restaurant by a considerable margin. The reviews are well-justified. For me, this is the perfect ‘neighbourhood Indian’, yours truly excluded [semi-jk haha].
Great location, superb food and thoroughly charming staff. The owner, Abdul, is a chef of some 41 years’ standing. The head chef and Abdul have created a fantastic menu. All the classics are on offer but the versions here are more thoughtful and better than the food at most Indian restaurants in London, including many that are far more expensive.
I live in Pembrokeshire, where it is nigh on impossible to get even a halfway decent version of a curry unless I make one myself or buy a ready meal from M&S et al, each superstore being a 45m drive away from me. I am vvv picky about my Indian food and I will be returning here without hesitation.
