5 /5 Joshua Jones: Got 3 hens from Zoe on the bank holiday weekend, lots of people there collecting hens but Zoe made time for everyone making sure they had the right advice of how to care for the hens and ultimately caring deeply for the hens once they go to their new homes. Great variety or birds for all hen keepers. Would recommend getting your hens from here, all healthy and happy :)

5 /5 Mrs Ash: We have two little children 4 and 6yrs old and have never raised chickens before.. ZOE is such an amazing lovely helpful person. Always picks ups the phone and gives us plenty of information and help. Zoe knew we needed friendly docile chickens that wont run and fly away from kids wanting to pet them lol we are soo happy with the breeds and the effortless time Zoe and her husband gave towards us. The children spent time watching.. choosing and were taught how to handle and pet their chosen chickens. What an amazing experience! Will definitely recommend east sussex small holders company for chicken selection! Our friends and neighbours are already thinking of getting some after seeing how well behaved and happy the kids are with them. Thanks again Zoe :) love Canterbury ❤️

George Anderson Excellent pub, great British food done well. Great pint of Harvey’s and wonderful atmosphere. Exactly what was needed after a day walking in the South Downs. Was only in the area for a couple days but would make effort to revisit in the future.

Simon Fisher A second visit this week as we were so impressed by the Sunday carvery. Friday is pie day, (2 for £20 at the time of writing!) I had the most amazing beef and Guinness pie served with mustard mash and a red wine gravy. You get a choice mash, my wife had horseradish, both were delicious! All food is prepared in house! Good wholesome nosh! (Check out the carvery - see other reviews!) Recommend both!! Recommend booking as it was very busy!

Mark Aukett Feels like a proper English country inn, with great atmosphere and friendly staff. Theres a function room to hire (I was there for a party) and the buffet was great. Id be tempted to go try the rooms and the main restaurant sometime.

Sexy Sax Fantastic food, friendly owner and all the staff are lovely, very welcoming and obliging. I highly recommend. I didnt get photos of our groups food as we tucked in straight away!
