4 /5 Aaron: Estadio Lounge is located on Wembley Park Blvd, right by Wembley Stadium and is part of the Loungers chain. I like this location, as it combines everything you’d expect from a “Lounge”, but with a Wembley/football-themed twist. The old twin towers of Wembley engraved onto the wall, alongside the usual artwork and adding scarves of teams who have played here, is a notable touch. The restaurant area is large, over two floors, which I’m sure is packed on an event day at Wembley.
I ended up chatting with a super-friendly manager about the decor, complimenting the flags — he was a credit to the restaurant and seemed genuinely happy to be there and interacting with customers.
The pricing was also really good value for money, especially given the location — slightly more expensive than back home up north, but what isn’t in London? You can order at the bar or via a QR code on the table; as I have an allergy, my only option was the former.
I did end up getting my table stolen while I was ordering at the counter, but this was easily fixed, and I found a different table — having something in place to stop this happening would be helpful.
I went for the GF Big Lounge Breakfast, swapping bacon for an extra sausage, and it was delicious. It was all cooked well and pretty tasty. I would have liked some better gluten-free bread to go with it, though, as I didn’t enjoy the version they used (I don’t like seeded bread).
My freshly squeezed orange juice was fresh and tasty and was juiced right in front of me — I didn’t like how they added ice, though, which seemed to water it down slightly — I dislike ice in fresh juice!
Certainly one of my favourite Lounge locations in general, and I look forward to returning.
