5 /5 Mrs. S. Personalised Travels: You’ll find me here at least once a week, surely this is a testament in itself.
The food is exceptional, and choosing what to order is always a pleasant dilemma. From the brunch menu, I would recommend, without hesitation, in this order: the croque madame, followed by the eggs Benedict, mushroom and avocado toast, and the Greek shakshuka. Pair any of these with a chai latte or turmeric latte for a truly indulgent experience.
The main menu is equally impressive. We always start with the fresh Greek salad with Carob croutons (I asked where I could get those but they are brought all the way from Greece). For starters, I recommend: the feta in filo pastry, prawns saganaki, taramas, and melitzanosalata, they are all outstanding. For mains, my favourite are the prawn giouvetsi, my husbands is the mixed grill, and my girls love the chicken gyros. All are superb choices, each rich in flavour and beautifully prepared.
If you somehow still have room for dessert, the ekmek kataifi is exquisite, though, more often than not, we’re too satisfied to make it that far.
Special thanks to Sofia and Atanasios (hope I got it right) for the outstanding experience EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. =)
